Service Description

The deliberate exchange with a trusted person is a recurring theme throughout the entire biblical narrative. Today we call this spiritual direction. Through it, we gain an outside perspective on ourselves and our relationship with God. This broadened perspective helps us to recognize God's guidance and how He deals with us, and to make life-affirming decisions. The relationship takes place on equal footing and in mutual trust. The person being accompanied retains responsibility for the content and course of the relationship at all times. As your spiritual director, I listen, ask questions, and offer guidance. Depending on our agreement, I suggest practical exercises, literature, or spiritual practices to deepen your own relationship with God (see www.vineyard-dach.net).
